In 2008 Blind Ditch VANLAND project worked with View From Here to run a film-making workshop at Exminster Youth Group as part of their series on Identity. The resulting film My House was screened as part of the young people’s event at the Carlton Theatre in Teignmouth, December 2008.
 Founded in 2007, View From Here is a South Devon based rural film festival combining a strong regional voice with vision and ambition. View From Here embraces a local ethos providing accessible and innovative screening events in cinemas, community centres, schools, outdoor environments, pubs, cafes, and galleries. The festival has previously screened a mix of award-winning drama and documentaries, young people's films, and premieres of new digital shorts filmed in and around the region.
